THE SEVEN SHIFA PASTE<\/h2>\n

A Paste comprising of the following Seven Beneficial Substances derived from the Qur\u2019aan and Sunnah:<\/p>\n

1.Honey Allah the Almighty says: \u201cThere issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours wherein is healing for men\u201d Qur\u2019aan 16:69<\/p>\n

2: \u2018Ajwah-al-Madeenah (a special kind of date) Rasoolullaah sallallahu \u2018alaihi wasallam is reported to have said: \u201cHe who eats seven Ajwah dates in the morning will not be affected by poison or magic during the day he eats them\u201d (Bukhari). He is also reported to have said: \u201cAjwah dates are from paradise and have healing\u201d (Tirmidhi).<\/p>\n

3: Indian Costus Root Rasoolullaah sallalahu \u2018alaihi wasallam is reported to have said: \u201cUse this Indian Costus Root, for it cures seven illnesses; and pleurisy is one of them\u201d (Bukhari). Another Hadeeth reports Rasoolullaah sallallaahu \u2018alaihi wasallam as saying: \u201cSome of the best treatments lie in cupping and the Indian Costus Root\u201d (Ahmad, Nasa\u2019i).<\/p>\n

4: Black Seed Rasoolullaah sallallaahu \u2018alaihi wasallam is reported to have said: \u201cThere is healing in the Black Seed for all diseases except death\u201d (Bukhari and Muslim).<\/p>\n

5: Senna Rasoolullaah sallallaahu \u2018alaihi wasallam is reported to have said: \u201cTreat yourselves with Senna and Sannoot (fennel),for they have healing properties for every disease except death\u201d (Ibn majah, Haakim).<\/p>\n

6: Sannoot Mention of this has already been made in the above-mentioned Hadeeth.<\/p>\n

7: Zamzam water Rasoolullaah sallallaahu \u2018alaihi wasallam is reported to have said: \u201cZamzam can serve as food and as a cure for diseases\u201d (Ibn Abi Shaibah, Tayaalisi).<\/p>\n
